Dear Logan,
We have received your requests to remove from our website material that you wrote for Sojourners. However, you wrote for Sojourners under a standard publishing agreement, giving us permission to publish that work in our channels. As a matter of editorial policy, we do not grant take-down requests. I appreciate your concerns about a lack of response from our opinion@sojo.net email address. We are reviewing our internal processes to determine what may have happened to cause your email to go unanswered and work to improve that process. Furthermore, I appreciate your clarification on copying Elizabeth. I assure you it was not Sojourners’ intent to imply you were seeking to gain extra influence for your piece. Josiah was (and is) responsible for ensuring potential writers are familiar with our editorial independence policies.
Best Regards,
Matt

There’s no agreement without a signature. As soon as I see mine I’ll withdraw my demand, assuming it’s legit.
You still have about 36 hours.

Also, a little unsolicited advice: don’t send a potential plaintiff to a site that helps build their case against Sojourners for having violated their own stated policies re. “dignity,” “social justice,” and “ethics.”
Best to just keep to doing what the law requires, which is get me that agreement you think I signed or take my copyrighted work off your site.

Whoa, my week’s been wacky. You had/have more than 36 hours.
Deadline is Friday at 5pm, sorry for the confusion.
